How could your seed be better than what I make myself?
Seeds that originate from harvest areas and from the storage silo are full of dust and other impurities. Mixing seeds with your hands will not remove the harmful dust and other impurities. I don’t like to feed my bird sunflower seeds; aren't they high in fat content?
There is nothing wrong feeding sunflower seeds to seed eating birds. It has been a proven fact that the birds in the wild state of Australia and South America, as well as other continents where birds have access to sunflower fields, they feed consistently. As a result, there's a better production of youngsters in the wild state. We have been feeding our birds sunflower seeds for over 50 years with no negative results.
My bird looks fine, why should I make a change to their diet?
